Japanese for Children

Beginners Level 1

This afterschool Japanese language class is for children with no prior knowledge of Japanese. In this class, children learn Japanese through fun and games, songs, stories, flash cards, some written work. They will learn fundamentals of listening and speaking and correct pronunciation. Some kanji and hiragana characters will be taught, All that and we also make learning fun! Ages: 6-12. The teacher is a native speaker of Japanese with experience teaching Japanese to children. lasses are kept small. We fill seats on a first-register basis. Vietnamese Language for Children

Beginners, Level 1

This is an absolute beginners' class and assumes no prior knowledge or study of Vietnamese. Class will introduce correct pronunciation (Vietnamese is a tonal language), alphabet, and focus on speaking and listening; reading and (minimal) writing Vietnamese will also be covered. Ages: 13+. The class provides an important foundation for further studies in the language. The teacher is a native speaker of Vietnamese (southern dialect), with excellent English and many years experience teaching children. Classes are kept small. We fill seats on a first-register basis. Vietnamese Language for Children

Beginners, Level 4

In this class, children learn Vietnamese through speaking and listening, having fun, playing games, singing songs, hearing stories. Using a textbook, children also continue to learn and memorize the Vietnamese alphabet, they will gain a deeper appreciation and mastery of tones and correct pronunciation, and also they will continue to build on reading and writing skills appropriate to their level. The teacher is a native speaker of Vietnamese (southern dialect), with excellent English and many years experience teaching children. Classes are kept small. We fill seats on a first-register basis.
