January 7 - March 25, 2009, Wednesdays (12 weeks), 6-7:30 pm (1.5 hours a week) Japanese Language for Adults -- Beginners, Level 2, ages 13 and older. This class continues to build on speaking and listening, reading and writing skills learnt in the previous level's course. Hiragana and some kanji taught. The teacher is a native speaker of Japanese. NEW January 7 - March 25, 2009, Wednesdays (12 weeks), 7:45-9:15 pm (1.5 hours a week) Japanese Language for Adults -- Absolute Beginners, Level 1, ages 13 and older. This class will concentrate on speaking and listening, and correct pronunciation, of Japanese. Basic conversational skills will be taught. Introduction to reading Japanese hiragana, and some Kanji will also be taught. The class provides an important foundation for further studies in the language.
