Here is our schedule of Thai language classes and instruction for adults and older children offered this term. This Thai language group class assumes no prior knowledge of Thai language. A strong emphasis will be placed on speaking and listening to Thai, but not to the exclusion of the reading and writing of Thai script. The class concentrates on correct usage of Standard Thai (also known as Siamese) which is the official language of Thailand. Review of tones, new words, Thai script, Thai grammar will be incorporated. The class provides an important foundation for further studies in the Thai language. Ages: 13+.
