Here is our schedule of Vietnamese language classes and instruction for adults and older children offered this term. One-on-one private tutoring and private group classes are also available, as well as Vietnamese translation and interpretation services. Vietnamese Language Classes for Adults

Saturdays, January 16 - March 27, 2010 (11 weeks)	8 am - 10 am (2 hours/week)	Vietnamese for Adults	Beginners, Level 1	This is an absolute beginners' class and assumes no prior knowledge or study of Vietnamese. Class will introduce correct pronunciation (Vietnamese is a tonal language), alphabet, and focus on speaking and listening; reading and (minimal) writing Vietnamese will also be covered. Ages: 13+. The class provides an important foundation for further studies in the language. The teacher is a native speaker of Vietnamese. Classes are kept small. We fill seats on a first-register basis. Basic conversational skills are concentrated on as is reading Vietnamese in the Vietnamese (Latin-based) alphabet. The teacher is a native speaker of Vietnamese. Classes are kept small.
